Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST), a key university of Shandong Province with distinct features, offers multidisciplinary education in engineering, sciences, management, literature, law, economics and education while giving prominence to engineering and is noted for mining technology.

Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) was founded in 1951, two years after the founding of new China. The campus covers a total area of 243 hectares. It is located in Qingdao, a beautiful coastal city. Every year the beer festival attracts tourists from all over the world. Qingdao is recognized as one of China’s Most Livable Cities and a National Garden City.
