English-Taught Programs
• PhD Program (4 years): Information and Communication Engineering

Chinese-Taught Programs (PhD only, 4 years)

Eligibility Requirements
1. Be a non-Chinese citizen with sound physical and mental health.
2. Master’s applicants: Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, demonstrate excellent academic performance, and be under 35 years of age.
3. PhD applicants: Hold a master’s degree or equivalent, possess an outstanding academic background, and be under 40 years of age.
4. Language Proficiency
◦ English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0+, TOEFL 80+, or Duolingo 120+
◦ Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 or above
Required Application Documents
All materials must be in Chinese or English; non-English documents require notarized English translations. Prepare the following:
1. Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form (completed in Chinese or English)
2. Copy of passport bio page (valid for over 1 year, expiring no earlier than September 2026)
3. Notarized highest academic diploma (current students must provide an official enrollment certificate or expected graduation proof from their university)
4. Academic transcripts (from undergraduate studies onward, including all semesters of bachelor’s, master’s (if applicable), and PhD (if applicable) programs—issued and sealed by the university’s academic authority)
5. Language proficiency certificate (IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo for English-taught programs; valid HSK score for Chinese-taught programs)
6. List of academic publications, research achievements, and representative works/abstracts (if applicable)
7. Study plan (over 3,000 words/characters in Chinese or English; PhD applicants’ plans must be signed by a potential Chinese supervisor from the university)
8. Two recommendation letters (from professors or associate professors, printed on university letterhead, including the recommender’s position, title, contact information, signature, and date—issued within the past year)
9. Copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (completed in English within 6 months of application, with all required items checked, signed by a physician, and sealed by the hospital)
10. Non-criminal record report (issued by local public security authorities within 6 months of application)
11. Provisional acceptance letter from a potential supervisor (mandatory for PhD applicants)
