Core Admission Criteria
• Eligibility: Non-Chinese citizens with a clean criminal record, good health, and aged 18–26 (in general). Applicants must demonstrate good conduct, comply with Chinese laws and regulations, and respect Chinese customs as well as the university’s rules.
• Language Proficiency:
◦ For English-taught programs: Preference is given to applicants holding valid English proficiency certificates (e.g., TOEFL iBT score of 80+, TOEFL PBT score of 550+, or IELTS Academic score of 6.0+).
◦ For Chinese-taught programs: Preference is given to applicants with an HSK Level 4 score of 180+.

i. Notarized non-criminal record certificate (in Chinese or English)
j. Two recommendation letters from academic supervisors (required for master’s and doctoral applicants), detailing the applicant’s academic ability, performance, and character
k. Guardian’s guarantee letter in China (required for applicants under 18; in Chinese or English)
