A Community Feel Created through International Culture Festival
Dongbei University of Finance and Economics held its fifth international culture festival on October 19th. Hundreds of international students coming from 36 countries and Chinese students from DUFE English club took part in this event. Also, Chinese folk artists were invited to give performance in this event to help international students learn about Chinese culture.
The international culture festive started with a food festival where international students from each country opened their booth to showcase the food culture of their own country. Various foods from different countries were cooked and sold by these international students, including Indian curry, Korean kimchi cake, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Kimbap. International students were totally immersed in this event tasting foods and learning about culture of other countries.
