Important Points You Should Know Before Applying Online
●Be sure to fully prepare the photocopies or the scanned copies of your application materials.

1.PayEase: It is a convenient, safe and easy online payment platform, supporting Master Card and VISA cards.
2.PayPal: PayPal is a secure, simple, and convenient way of paying. For those who have not used PayPal before, you can create an account on their website
3.Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants who are currently in China can do a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in CNY
4.Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants who are not in China can pay the application fee in US Dollars by a bank transfer
5.Western Union: For applicants who cannot use T/T or PayPal payments, SICAS recommends you to use Western Union (especially African applicants)
Reminder:Please keep in mind that it is not until the payment has been confirmed will the applied university start for processing. In other words, universities will only start to process the applications which have been paied )

Application Materials

Application form is prerequisite, and every university has its own version. SICAS will guide you step by step to fill the exact one when you click”Apply now” on the page of your favorite course.
Be sure to prepare fully the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments in the application progress.

Non-degree Program

1. Certificate of HSK
Certificate of HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test),No need for English medium programs
2. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. High school academic transcript
5. High school graduate certificate
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
6. Letter of recommendation
From professor or associate professor or equivalents
7. Letter from financial guarantor
indicating his or her name, profession, telephone number, and contact address
8. Letter from sponsor in China
indicating his or her name, working unit, telephone number, and permanent address

Bachelor's Degree Programs

1. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included (passport type must be ordinary)
2. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
3. High school academic transcript
Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present, including courses taken and standard achieved (original documents or certified copies in Chinese or English)
4. High school graduate certificate
Students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date, and submit the graduation diploma if admitted, which should be original documents or certified copies in Chinese or English
5. Additional materials
Additional materials may be required

Master's Degree Programs

1. Certificate of HSK
HSK 6 for basic medicine, biology, public health, preventive medicine, pharmacy etc., HSK 8 for clinical, stomatology and public management.
2. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. Undergraduate school transcript
5. Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
6. Letter of recommendation
From professor or associate professor or equivalents

8. Personal Statement with 800 words
Personal Statement with the applicant\'s signature, written in Chinese or in English.

Doctoral Degree Programs

1. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
2. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
3. Postgraduate school transcript
4. English proficiency test certificate
For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
5. Letter of recommendation
The referees should be professors or persons with relevant academic title. At least one of them should have knowledge of your recent academic work. The format of the recommendation letter must be original documents either in Chinese or English.

Entry requirement

Bachelor's Degree Programs

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, above the age of 18 and under the age of 30, have attained a senior high school diploma.

Master's Degree Programs

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, under the age of 40, have attained a Bachelor’s degree or above, with HSK level 8.

Doctoral Degree Programs

·English Language
All students must have taken the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Students who do not speak English as a first language must have taken the (TOEFL) unless they have received a bachelor’s degree from an English speaking university. 
·Academic Prerequisites
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in: Engineering, Math, Physical Science (Chemistry, Physics and other related disciplines), Life Science (with precondition that applicants make up required math and physics courses) or other disciplines with special approval from recruiting committee. Have taken Calculus up to differential equations (2 years) and Calculus based physics (1 year).
