Program Overview
This major brings up the advanced engineering personnel with wide basic knowledge and specialty technology. Aim to undertake scientific research, technology exploitation, administration management, culture education, project planning and design, capital construction, production and management of mining engineering (including mining engineering and safety engineering) in metal, non metal, chemical industry and energy sources filed. All these help to adapt to market economy development.

Theoretical Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Rock Mechanics, Geology, Mining Systems Engineering, Blasting Engineering, Safety Engineering, Mine & Tunnel Engineering, Mine and Industrial Ventilation & Air-Conditioning etc and some basic elective courses
