Students of CUMT won the Second Prize in the 13th National Competition of Transport Science and Technology
On May 18-20,
the 13th National Competition of Transport Science and Technology for
Undergraduate Students was held at Changsha University of Science and
Technology. After a fierce competition in the finals, the contest finalized 8
first prizes, 24 second prizes, and 32 third prizes. The entries from the China
University of Mining and Technology won the second prize. The work was directed
by teacher Hongwei Yuan, and was completed by students Zhengshuai Sun , Daoming
Wang , and Leilei Li .
The National
Competition of Transport Science and Technology for Undergraduate Students is a
national competition for university students hosted by the Traffic Engineering
Teaching Guidance Subcommittee under the support of the Ministry of Education
Teaching and Learning Committee of Higher Education Transportation Teaching.
There were 380 entries from 152 colleges and universities participating in this
competition. After the initial expert anonymous communication review, 80 entries
were finalists.
The Communist
Youth League and the School of Mines actively prepared for the competition. From
the end of 2017, it organized and carried out competition propaganda, in-school
selections, and expert counseling.After entering the finals, they carefully
organized preparations for competitions, defense demonstrations, and other
preparations, which laid the foundation for the competition.
