There are three research directions in this specialty: art history, art archaeology and art market. This program aims to cultivate qualified personnel who are well developed morally,intellectually and physically.They are expected to lay a solid foundation in the art,acquire specified knowledge and practical ability.They are also required to be able to undertake teaching,scientific research and other social work in the field of art.

5. Thesis and Graduation Project
1. After acquiring all the credits as required, candidates are eligible for undertaking research on thesis.The topic is to evolve around the fundamental and specialized research or practical issues in the domain.The thesis should be characterized with professional and academic value and creativity,living up to a relatively high level of the theoretical research in the same field in china.
2.Candidates should present their topics of their thesis,then start their specific studies and thesis writing.
3. Stage check-up is conducted in the middle of the research.The master candidates make a statement of the progression, flaws and the solutions. Timely measures are proposed to readjust the schedule with great deviations.
4. The completed thesis will be examined and assessed by experts in the same field both inside and outside the university after the comfirmation of 3 lecturers with senior titles.
5. Before the defence of the thesis,the candidates are required to publish on academic paper in the academic journals.
