Program Description

I. Program Overview

The Computer Technology specialty of BJTU was created nearly 40 years ago. It is also supported by 2 National Key Disciplines, Signal and Information Processing, Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems.

Now, BJTU makes use of advantages and experience of itself and sets up the master program of Computer Technology in English medium to foster the innovative talents for the world.

II. Program Curriculum

Master program of Computer Technology (2 years) focuses on software filed. It requires the students achieve at least 32 credits. The first 2 semesters are for coursework and the rest time is for enterprise practice and thesis writing.

Entry Requirements

1. Foreign citizen.

If the applicant was originally a Chinese citizen, he/she must has got the foreign passport for at least 4 years and the time living in the passport issuing country must be more than 2 years (according to the exit and entry records on the passport. 9 months is regarded as 1 year) .

2. Applicant must be in good health and abide to the laws and regulations

3. Bachelor degree of computer technology or related academic fields

4. Applicants whose native language is not English must meet the English language proficiency requirement by at least one of the following condition:

(1) Proof of high school and above education completed in the English language

(2) Minimum TOEFL score of 68 (IBT) within the past 2 years

(3) Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 within the past 2 years

(4) Passed the English language test of BJTU

5. Two recommendation letters by associate professors or above
