Microelectronics and Solid state Electronics

Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics is the base and pillar of electronic engineering and information science and technology. This master-degree program is jointly applied with the key national defense laboratory of analog integrated circuits (under the 24th Research Institute of Chinese Electronics Science and Technology Corporation), with a research body of high -quality professors, associate professors, researchers and senior engineers. One of the "11th Five-Year Plan" key disciplines of Chongqing City it is equipped with a municipal microelectronics engineering laboratory, and undertakes the necessary task of training talents for the integrated circuit manufacturing industry chain for China and for Chongqing Municipality in particular. Since the "10th-Five-Year", teachers in the discipline have carried out more than 10 key scientific research projects including the "863" program, the National Natural Science Fund, the provincial, ministerial and national projects, won 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. Nearly 10 patents are obtained and nearly 400 papers have been published.
The discipline conducts researches mainly in structures, properties and preparation technology of various solid electronic materials, manufacturing and testing technology of various electronic components (including active, passive, power and sensitive or operative components), manufacturing technology, designing technology and methods, reliability technology and testing methods.
