Program Description

The major has two specialties - English language and literature and English for information technology. It enjoys a good reputation for its excellent teaching. Ever since 1999, it has been improving itself, ranked the top in the state in the CEMT.

The major is to professionals with both solid English and broad knowledge of science and culture who are expertise for the needs of 21st century era of the information and knowledge-based economy. Gradates are qualified for such positions as translation, teaching, management and research in foreign affairs, economy, trade, culture, the press, publishing, education, scientific research, tourism, and other sectors.
