Banking
As a city developing at a high speed, Guangzhou is equipped with a large number of banks, both International and national. Banks in Guangzhou are open from Mondays to Fridays, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Chinese banks in the downtown areas are often open on Saturdays and Sundays so International students can convert foreign currency at weekends.

International students can turn to ATM when banks are closed. HSBC is one of the few transnational banks that offer ATM service in China. There're three HSBC ATMs in Guangzhou:

International students can also go to 5 state-owned commercial banks in China dealing business. They're Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China Construction Bank (CBC), Bank of Communications (BC), Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) and Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC).
