Medical Education Lecture of Insight into Utah University hold by School of International Education

On the evening of September 18, school of international education of HMU held the medical education lecture “Insights in to Utah ” in the auditorium, aiming to let more students to know about the medical education system of USA, and give them more opportunities for going abroad to study.

The lecture was held by Huamin Wang, dean of school of international Educational. And Professor Spence Lloyd from UthaUniversity gave us an interesting lecture.

Firstly, professor Spence Lloyd briefly introduced the situation of American medical education system to the students, then described clearly the major courses of the UthaUniversity and application process. The students were impressed by the lecture very much  and most of them try to make the note. When the lecture was finished, the students actively raised their hands to ask questions. The atmosphere of the whole lecture was active and pleasant. What’s more, the students benefited a lot from this lecture.

The friendly relation between our university and UtahUniversity was established in 2009. Our cooperational project of internship exchange has been started since 2010. So far, we have sent six students to UtahUniversity for internship.
