1. Introduction
Environment Science and Technology, one of the most valued courses in Beijing Normal University ,is a central issue in the international communication. The MA Program in Environmental Science and Technology at the Beijing Normal University (BNU) is designed for excellent
students in environmental sciences at home and abroad. This courses' destination is developing students’ ability of analyzing and tackling the existing issues in environmental studies. Excellent research achievement and teaching abilities of BNU can provide a good study environment for foreign students. Education Science has been accounted as one of the National key disciplines and Education Technology is a key discipline in Beijing as well. Education Science and Technology is a National Authorized First Grade Discipline.
2. Study Duration and Tuition Fee
Study duration: 1.5 years (3 semesters)
Tuition fee: 51000 RMB
3. Credits and Courses
Credits: 36 including 12 for compulsory courses，18 for optional courses and 6 for a dissertation. (3 credits for each course)
※ 1 credit=18 study hours
8 courses for the first semester and 10 courses for the second.

1. Applicant who are non-Chinese citizens should be less than 50 years old and hold a foreign passport.
2. Applicant should gain a diploma which is equivalent to (or above) a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university

2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
3. Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
4. Transcript of undergraduate school
5. Two recommendation letters(optional)
From professor,associate professor or equivalents.
6. Certificate of English proficiency test
IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.
7. Personal Statement
Personal Statement with the applicant's signature, written in Chinese or in English. You can download a template or sample from here.
8. Letter of guardian’s guarantee For applicant under 18 years of age
Letter of guarantee The guardian should write out his/her name, nationality, occupation and address (if an organization acts as the guardian, reference to the organization should be made clear).
9. Photocopies of any published academic papers, patents, or other academic achievements
