HEU offers 8 levels of Chinese learning courses( A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H), in which every level being more progressive than another, each being a seperate unit. These courses mainly emphasize on intensifying communicative competence andtraining reading skills. We also encourage students to get a comprehensive Chinese ability and a better understanding of Chinese culture. The students will attend different classes according to their demand and Chinese ability.
Compulsory courses: Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese reading, Chinese writing, Chinese character reading and writing, Chinese conversation, etc.
Elective courses: HSK guidance(elementary & intermediate advanced), modern Chinese pronunciation, economic and trade newspapers reading, business spoken Chinese, Guzheng (zither), Tai Chi, etc. The healthy foreign citizens above 16 years old
