Mechanical Engineering

Teaching Objective

This program will enable students to be qualified senior and comprehensive engineering technicians in the areas of production technology and research, engineering construction, industrial enterprises trade, and administrative management and training and so forth. Graduates are expected to apply learned knowledge and techniques of mechanical engineering, professional software, electronic and control engineering to reality, and to be capable of working in research institutes, higher education institutions and industrial enterprises for new technology and products.

Main Courses

The duration of study is four years. The degree courses are: Advanced Mathematics, Elementary Chinese, Intermediate Chinese, College Physics, Theoretical Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Foundation of Materials Engineering, Engineering Drawing, Foundation of Mechanical Designing, Electrotechnics & Electronic Techniques, Computer Program Design, and Control Engineering.

Graduated Requirment

According to the requirements for the compulsory courses’ credits, students must obtain 140 credits in course learning, 6 credits in experimental courses and 26 credits in practice courses. Students can graduate only after having obtained 165 credits according to the requirements of the Teaching Plan, 14 credits according to the requirements of the Assistant Teaching Plan and having obtained HSK-3.

Degree Awarded

The qualified students will be awarded the Bachelor Degree of Engineering.

Future Career

Graduates can be comprehensive senior engineers to design mechatronics system, do manufacture or develop new technology in the enterprises or research institute. Graduates can go to university to make search in the major.
