Chengdu School News Roundup: September 2024
Welcome to the Chengdu Education round-up, for teachers, parents, and all those interested international education in the city. Here are the first pieces of education news coming out as parents, teachers, and students have returned from summer break:
QSI Launches Parent University For the Second Year
QSI International School of Chengdu provides exceptional educational opportunities for students and their families. In our second year of offering mini courses through Parent University, families can learn more about everything from the university application process to understanding standardized testing, from Mastery Learning to our cutting edge Intensive English Program. The more our families know about us, the more they trust us with their most valuable possessions, their children. Last year’s sessions were well received by our families, and this year, we will expand and offer some courses to the public, too. Please watch for your invitation to educational excellence!
CDIS Launches STEAM clubs and classes
At Chengdu International School, we're excited to announce that we have launched our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) clubs and classes for elementary and middle school students this week! At CDIS, STEAM is not just a class; it reaches every learning point for all ages, from information and processing to problem-solving. We prepare students to solve real-world problems that are complex and multi-faceted in a classroom setting.
