------SICAS Scholarship Application Process: As easy as a pie！

In order to encourage excellent International students to study in China, SICAS has set up SICAS Outstanding Students Scholarships (SOSS)—ONLY to those preeminent students who apply for Appointed Courses of China’s universities through SICAS. The scholarship amount may cover or supplement your tuition fee so the actual amount will be equal to the tuition fee (tuition fee less than $ 2000) or the amount will be $ 2,000 (tuition fee more than $2,000).

Application Conditions for SOSS：
 
If the university you apply for is on the list of “Appointed Chinese Universities with SICAS Outstanding Students Scholarships”, and if your Admission Status for the "Appointed Universities' Courses" turns to be "Accepted", you’ll be granted with an opportunity to scholarship application on your "My SICAS" Account with the following procedure.

In this part you’ll have a view of all scholarship information, including amount, quota, eligible candidates, application deadlines etc. Click "Next" if you are clear with all the information.

Fill the Scholarship Application Form
 
Please complete your scholarship application form on the page. Besides, please download and fill the Scholarship Application Form, and then upload it in the step of “Upload Application Materials” which is the prerequisite condition for winning your scholarship.

Complete Personal Statement
 
Here you’re required to write a brief personal statement (800~1200 words) in English or in Chinese (if you’re confident in your Mandarin efficiency). In your personal statement, you should show your experience, interests and the purpose of studying in China to the scholarship officers. Try as hard as you can to impress the scholarship officers by being real and honest. A good statement of intent can help you better understood plus the application information.

Upload Application Materials

 Please ensure that all the documents you uploaded be MS-Word (.doc,.docx), Adobe PDF (.pdf) documents, image files (.gif, .jpg), or compression files (.rar, .zip). Each file cannot exceed 8MB (megabytes). You are allowed to upload several pieces for each type of document.

Send to University and Track

The university will only accept your scholarship application when your “Track Admission Status” (How to Track Admission Status?) of your applied course changed to “Accepted”. So please finish your application for your admission (How to apply?).
 Once you click the button of "Send to Uni.", SICAS will notify you before the Results Announcement Date which is published on SICAS. If you are awarded the scholarship, an email will be sent to your Registered E-mail address. The scholarship winner list will be published on the SICAS scholarship section. You can also log in your SICAS account to check your scholarship processing status.

Scholarship Application Status:

Processing: The university is processing your scholarship application and will notify you in no time. 
Accepted: The university has agreed to grant you the scholarship and will put your name in the scholarship winner list published on SICAS scholarship section.
Refused: Sorry, the university can’t accept your scholarship application.
