Scholarship winners are exempt from tuition, accommodation fees on campus, and are provided with monthly living allowance, and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in China. Monthly living allowances are provided at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month): a. CNY 2,500 for Bachelor’s Degree Students ,One-Academic-Year Students and One-Semester Students. b. CNY 3,000 for Master’s Degree Students. |

Application Requirements: |
Please prepare the following documents before you apply any programs at SICAS online. 1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. 2. Applicants must abide by the Chinese government’s laws, rules and regulations and school regulatory framework. 3. Education background and age limit: a) Applicants for Non-degree must be the age of between 16 and 35.b) Applicants for Bachelor’s degree study must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification and be under the age of 25. c) Applicants for master degree must obtain bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and be under the age of 35. 4. Applicants must adhere to the university’s rules and regulations and demonstrate high academic achievement. |

1. Apply for SICAS for 2016 intake through SICAS. 2. Excellent applicants will be recommended to SICAS for 2016 intake. |

1. The scholarship quotas are distributed by the relevant department of SICAS 2. Your scholarship application documents will be reviewed by SICAS helpful and efficient staff members, and then those outstanding applicants will be recommended to Confucius Institute 3. Whether or not you're able to achieve the scholarship will be determined by the relevant department of SICAS on the basis of your academic merits as well as your recommendation letters. 4. You are not eligible for the application of any other scholarships in case you've already been a recipient of a particular scholarship. 5. SICAS reserves the final right of enforcing and explaining the detailed rules of implementation. |
Application Materials: |
1. Notarized certificate of applicant’s diploma or degree. Applicants need to submit proof of employment or study issued by the applicants’ current employer or school if the applicants are currently working or studying. 2. Academic transcript, in notarized Chinese or English translation. 3. Applicants’ study or research plan, either in Chinese or in English. 4. Two letters of recommendation written by persons of at least associate professors from the applicant’s alumni university in English or in Chinese for students applying for master or doctoral degree. 5. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport. 6. Physical examination record. |
