Important Reminding Before Doing Application Online


Please make sure you have well prepared scan or photo copies of the following required documents and be aware of the alternative ways to pay for application fee.

Application Fee

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL UNLESS THE APPLICATION FEE IS PAID. YOU WILL GET THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM BOTH THE SICAS APPLICATION SYSTEM AND THE SCHOOL UPON YOUR PAYMENT ARRIVES.

SICAS offers four kinds of payment methods, and you would find your payment details when you doing application online.

1. PayPal:
Payments made through Paypal are safe, easy and convenient. If you have used Paypal in the past, please click the PayPal button on the webpage of "Make Payment" and follow the directions.

2. Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas:
Applicants overseas can use bank transfer to pay the application fee in US Dollars.

3. Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants in China can use a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in RMB.

4. Western Union:
SICAS recommends applicants who are inconvient with T/T or PayPal payments use Western Union (especially African applicants).

Applicants are advised to read the following information before application. 
 
1) Forward the required documents with 400 RMB registration fees.

2) Within 1 week after all the required documents are received, the decision will be forwarded to applicants. Once accepted , the enrollment letter together with the form    "JW202"(the document for "X" student visa) will be sent to the applicant. With "JW202", Enrollment Notice and Health Certificate, applicants may proceed with application of "X"visa in the visa section of Embassy of P.R.C. or Consulate General of PRC in your country.

3) Applicants are required to register in the university on the specified date, with the    form of"JW202", Enrollment Letter and the Original Health Certificate. 

Basic Requriement

Programs Age Limit Qualification Schooling
B.Sc./ B.Eng. 30 Completed 12-year education equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate, Above avarage in academic performance in high schools; HSK requirment: Grade 4;  18 years old by the date of registration; in good health;   academic performance is above average and courses are 80% or above; with basic English language ability 4yrs
M. Sc./ M.Eng. 40 Received the First degree from an authorized university or college with B. If possible, applicants are encouraged to take the annual national entry exam for masters 3yrs
Doctorate Candidate 50 Received a master degree in the relative subject from an authorized university or college. B is required for the record 3yrs

Application Materials

Make sure that you have prepared for the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments when applying.

Chinese Language Programs:

① Diploma and degree certificate or the certification from the present university or college
② Valid passport copy
③ A passport size photo
④ The identity certificate of the guarantors charging your case in China

Undergraduate Program:

① High school diploma or the certification from the present university or college
② High school transcripts
③ HSK Certificate Level 4 or above
④ Valid passport copy
⑤ A passport size photo
⑥ The identity certificate of the guarantors charging your case in China

Master's Program:

① Diploma and degree certificate or the certification from the present university or college
② Related transcripts
③ HSK Certificate Level 6 or above
④ Valid passport copy
⑤ A passport size photo
⑥ The identity certificate of the guarantors charging your case in China
⑦ Two References letter from professors or employers

Doctoral Program:

① Diploma and degree certificate or the certification from the present university or college
② Related transcripts
③ HSK Certificate Level 6 or above
④ Valid passport copy
⑤ A passport size photo
⑥ The identity certificate of the guarantors charging your case in China
⑦ Two Reference letters from professors or employers
