Ⅰ. Program Introduction

Construction management is a compound undergraduate major formed by the intersection of engineering technology and economy management which is set up after the adjustment of the ministry of education undergraduate professional catalogue in 1998. Our school’ s Construction Management is set up in 2003 and recruits college to undergraduate students since 2014. 

Ⅱ. Training Object

Construction management training a batch of applied construction management talents with solid foundation, strong practice ability, high comprehensive quality and creative spirit who acquire basic training for engineers and have civil engineering technology and construction management related basic knowledge, such as management, economy, and law.

Ⅲ. Professional Characteristics

On the design of the training scheme, our school’ s construction management based in Beijing and for enterprises and institutions with construction activities. Training scheme focuses on training practical talented person who is engaged in the whole process management of engineering project and mastering the core skills of investment and engineering cost management. This major based on solid civil engineering (especially construction engineering) professional knowledge, focusing on the cultivation of construction project investment and engineering cost management ability and strengthening practical teaching.

Ⅳ. Program Feature

A. The curriculum of construction management covers management, economics, civil engineering technology, laws and other related courses. Students are to acquire basic quality training as engineers and managers.

B. Small-class-based teaching is adopted to ensure teaching quality. There are no more than 20 students in each class and each student is assigned one Chinese student of same major as his/her tutor.

C. AII the major courses are taught in English. Chinese Language course, General Survey on China and other courses are also provided to facilitate foreign students to adapt themselves to life and study in China.

D. A good number of our cooperation units in Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry offer internship for foreign students.

Tuition fee : 29600RMB/year

Insurance: 800 RMB/year

Double Room: 8778RMB-11000 RMB/year

Ⅶ. Scholarships

All the foreign students in this program can apply for the scholarship from our University. Based on the students’ grade and their performance on multiple aspects, our scholarship evaluation committee will evaluate them. The amount of scholarship for each year can reach a maximum of one academic year tuition fee.
