Why Study in Jiangsu University of Science and Technology
Research
JUST has altogether undertaken 1474 scientific research projects, of which 30 are of state level, 94 are of provincial (ministerial) or higher level, and acquired 242 million Yuan for scientific research outlay (fruit transformation expense excluded). JUST has published more than 4000 articles in domestic or international academic journals or conferences, applied for 119 patents, of which 62 are invention patents, and obtained 31 provincial (ministerial) or higher level scientific research awards.
JUST manages and publishes many academic publications including Journal of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (Natural Science Edition), Journal of JUST (Social Science Edition), Chinese Silkworm Industry and Science of Silkworm etc.
Achievements
JUST has made significant achievements in both reform and development. JUST has been honored as Jiangsu Provincial Civilized Unit for 16 consecutive years, as National Advanced Unit for Undergraduates’ Social Practices for successive 15 years, Model Unit in University Spirit of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Provincial Civilized University, Jiangsu Provincial Safe & Civilized Campus, Jiangsu Provincial Garden Unit, National Excellent University of Implementing School Physical Education Statutes, National Model Employees’ Home etc.
Future Goals
In the new century, JUST will carry forward the spirit of Soul of Ship to deepen reform, exploration and innovation abiding by the motto of “devote to study and morality, study for ambition and practice”, and march forward to the goal of a multidisciplinary comprehensive university of nationwide fame and international significance.
