Medical Care for international people

Basically, both international staff and students are required to by their medical insurance in their home countries which covers their medical expenses during their stay at Chongqing Unviersity.

Chongqing University also provide medical care to its international staff according to the general policies for Chinese staff. That means a certain sum of medical allowance are provided for outpatient service. Expenses of residential treatment, on the other hand, should be covered either by accident insurance, which Chongqing University buys for free, or medical insurance bought by international staff themselves in home country.
