The campus is very active with some very fine facilities. I enjoy eating Chinese food at different canteens. However, the accommodation is nothing much to write home about.

Our school and its teachers are definately pretty good ones and the sorroundings could not be better. The tropical weather of Hainan island, plenty of green areas, a big lake in a vast campus make students' life very confortable, making learning a difficult language easy. The university campus is very active and has many sports facilities and a number of recreational places where Chinese students currently mingle with the foreign students.

I have really enjoyed my year abroad, studying at Hainan University. The classes are interesting and the teaching quality is fantastic. Haikou is a great city to spend a year in, there are always lots of different activities to take part in both on and off campus. Studying at 'HaiDa' has not only given me the opportunity to really improve my Chinese over the past year, but also to meet new people, make new friends, and experience a new culture, all whilst enjoying the Hainan sunshine!
