MOU Signed by UCD and SZU

In conjunction with FISU Conference Shenzhen 2011, Irish top university UCD (University College Dublin) and SZU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the morning of 14th August 2011. The signing ceremony was at Rm.301 of President Office. After the ceremony, the two presidents were interviewed by the local new media. This MOU has set the framework of cooperation between the two institutions concerning SZU’s medical student’s pursuit of UCD’s doctor program after completing SZU’s bachelor programs and an establishment of joint research institute on health related technologies.

SZU President Professor Zhang and UCD President Professor Hugh Brady were both delighted to further promote the cooperation to a new stage. Every year, UCD receives a number of SZU students of economics, management, and other academic backgrounds who will pursue further studies at Ireland.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Vice President Ruan Shuangchen, professors of SZU's medical school, and Professor Chao Weiwei, Director of International Office of SZU.
