The School of City Development



The School of City Development, being one of the 20 schools in University of Jinan, has earned a reputation for the cradle of talent with most prosperous future. It has engaged in the education and research on urban development. Under this goal and priority, the school is divided into three departments: Geography Science Department, City Management Department, and Environment& Resources Department. In addition, it encompasses a wide array of research organizations: institutes of city science and geography science and one research center of engineering and technology for water resources. The research fields of the school include urban management, human resources & environment management, regional planning & urban economics, geography education and environment education, resources and environment for urban water, planning and management for resources, ecological environment planning, planning and management for cities and towns, aiming at cultivating high qualified personnel in planning of cities and towns, urban development and urban management.
