Program Description

Why choose to study this program?

This programme offers students a thorough grounding in electrical and electronic engineering. Students will learn to operate at the cutting edge of emerging technologies.
By the time you graduate, you should:
have extensive experience in modelling and analytical methods;
be able to use IT tools and CAD systems for modelling, analysis, simulation and design;

be able to design a system, component or process based on initial requirements and constraints.

What will I study?
At level 1, you will acquire fundamental knowledge and practical skills, through the study of modules in:electronic circuits – transistors and amplifiers; C and C++ programming and software engineering; engineering mathematics; electromagnetism and drives; digital electronics; integrated electronics and design
At level 2, you will build on this foundation and learn about:continuous and discrete time signals and systems; CMOS Integrated Circuits; microprocessor systems; communications principles; instrumentation; RF engineering and applied electromagnetics; energy conversion and power systems; control systems
In your final year, you will undertake a substantial research project, spanning both semesters. You will also learn about:analogue and digital communications; digital design with; HDL; signal processing; electronics for instrumentation; embedded computer systems; digital filtering; optoelectronics and photonics.

Entry Requirements

1. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport

2. High school graduate or equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate

3. Be in good health condition and above the age of 18

2.  Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.  Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.   Academic transcript of high school

5.  Health certificate(optional)
Photocopy of physical examination record.

6.  Certificate of English proficiency test
IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.

7.  Financial guarantee letter

Photocopy of the signatured financial guarantee letter from his/her financial guarantor to prove their solvency.

8. Certificate of No-Criminal Record
