Program Description

Teaching Objectives

This program leads to the degree of Master of Economics, majoring in Western Economics. The program is designed to equip students with advanced skills in economic theory and econometrics. The emphasis is on development of students’ analytical skills, in particular their ability to identify key questions and to use theoretical and empirical tools to answer them. A graduate from this program will be in an ideal position to pursue doctoral study or successfully contribute to the business sector or government in China or around the world.

Internship
Students will have the opportunities to be engaged in industrial collaborative projects, interview techniques, resume instructions and review, visits to companies, and career consultation.

Degree Awarded
Qualified student will be granted Bachelor's Degree of Economics by Huazhong University of Science and Technology

Future Career
The graduates can work in the International trade transportation, insurance, customs clearance etc agencies, specialized foreign-trade corporations, and import and export department's of foreign-owned enterprises.

Entry Requirements

1. Applicant is under the age of 25, and is in good health, high-school graduate with good marks.

2. The HSK score should reach level 3 or above
