Economic Law

The Doctor of Laws(LL.D) program focuses on economic law by which government regulate the marketplace. Research interests mainly involves economic law theory, competition law, industrial policy, taxation law, financial law in the China, EU and US, international aspects of economic law. As one of the oldest Law School in China, Zhengzhou University set up the undergraduate LLB program in Economic Law in 1985, LLM program in economic law in 1993, and LLD program in competition law in 2011. Especially in the field of competition law, our institution has an important position in China. Our members conduct world-class research, produce outstanding publications and advise and influence a wide range of national policy makers. The LLD programme delivers innovative courses and training in economic law to meet the needs and expectations of PhD students, in order to cultivate PhD students’ wide range of knowledge of economic law and other relevant field and trains the innovative and expertise abilities. The aim is to cultivate personnel for the universities, policymakers and enforcement officials, the judiciary, business communities and law firms in economic law.

3.Master's degree diploma

Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

Transcript should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.


5. Certificate of English proficiency test

It is better to upload your IELTS or TOEFL results when you are applying for a course taught in English, especially for those non-native English speakers, even though it is not a compulsory condition in some of the universities.

 

6.Two letters of recommendation
From professor or associate professor or equivalents.


7.Study Plan 
more than 1000 words


8.Health certificate 
Not needed during application. But may required when applying for visa.


9.Financial Support Statement 

Original copy or notarized copy in Chinese or English of the financial support statement with signature.
