Objective: Starting with pilgrimage of Pearl S. Buck in her former residence, following her footprint to find the mystery how Zhenjiang became the city of romance besides Southern Yangtze River. The picture of Long WANG’s figure working hard in the fields in the Good Earth (of which most of stories were taken from the countryside of China) written by Pearl S. Buck, the first woman American Noble prize winner in literature, is still haunting around our mind. There are every reason for international literature fans to pay a pilgrimage to Zhenjiang--the birthplace of lunar Valentines Day (Double Seventh Festival) and the legendary of Lady White Snake.

Characteristics: basing on the influential woman American novelist Pearl S. Buck, a lot of work can be done to attract visitors at home and abroad, esp. those who are especially interested in works of the first woman American Noble prize winner in literature--Pearl S. Buck. In combination with the myth and legendary of Lady White Snake, and in response to Zhenjiang municipal government’s promotion of lunar Valentines Day (Double Seventh Festival), a very nice tour study program is delicately offered.
