Science of Chinese Medicine
is a clinical medicine program. It demands the students to systematically master the fundamental theories and diagnostic and treatment skills of Chinese Medicine as well as certain knowledge of Western Medicine and its diagnostic and treatment skills; master the diagnostic and treatment skills of the familiar diseases of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology and Pediatrics and the emergent treatment of their acute diseases, stubborn diseases and critical diseases; have certain research abilities.

1.Educational Objectives
It's to educate senior professionals of Chinese medicine with good morality,  fine medical ethics, solid theoretical knowledge and practical working ability for  Chinese Medicine clinical work, certain knowledge of modern natural science, medicine and diagnostic and treatment skills as well as the ability to work outside mainland China. 

2.Basic Requirements
Abide by Chinese laws, the university regulations and medical ethnics.
Have interest and intention of furthering study of Chinese Medicine. Possess learning spirit characterized by intelligent, diligent, strict and truth-seeking. 
Master the fundamental theories of Chinese Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica and the clinical diagnostic and treatment skills of Chinese Medicine, acquire certain knowledge of natural science and modern medicine, receive the clinical skill training of modern medicine and Chinese Medicine and acquire the basic diagnostic and treatment abilities of diseases in various Chinese Medical fields.

3.Professional Educational Objectives and Requirements
By learning courses of this program and receiving clinical medical training, students are required to systematically master the fundamental theories of Chinese Medicine and clinical medicine; master the fundamental theories of Chinese Medical Formulas; master certain modern scientific technology and modern medical knowledge related to Chinese Medicine; acquire proficient abilities of diagnosis and treatment based on syndrome differentiation with 4 Diagnostic Methods, 8 Principles, principle-method-recipe-medicine as well as the preliminary operation ability on acute and severe diseases; master the basic literature and material searching methods, and acquire reading abilities of classical Chinese Medicine works.

4.Teaching Arrangement
A.From the 1st year to the 4th year, theoretical teaching is offered with experiments and probation offered during this period.
B.10 weeks of teaching probation are offered in the 6th semester.
C. A year of graduation internship (52 weeks) is offered.
