Q:What is the meaning of ‘Featured Cities’?

“Featured Cities” is a SICAS guide to selected Chinese cities that may be of interest to international students. We group cities into six categories based on their characteristics, including:

• International Cities – Cities with a strong international presence and global connections.
• Modern Metropolises – Major cities known for modern infrastructure, business, and urban life.
• Best-Value Cities – Cities that offer a more affordable cost of living and study experience.
• Coastal Cities – Cities located along China's coast, often known for their distinctive climate, culture, and lifestyle.
• Tourism Cities – Cities with well-known cultural, natural, or tourism attractions.
• Historical Cities – Cities with significant historical and cultural heritage.
