The study duration of Degree Programs are as follows:

Degree programs: At most Chinese universities degree programs begin every September. A small number of courses
can admit students during spring.
Non-degree programs: are mainly one-semester (4-6 months), one-year or short-term (anywhere from 1-8 weeks).
Language programs: for the one-semester language programs, they usually open in either semester. (starting in both
September and February/March); these longer programs which last for one-year usually opens during September; the
short-term courses may be subjected to fixed time or according to the number of the students. Short term summer
programs have start dates throughout June, July and August, and last for 1-8 weeks.
