Glorious Sun School of Business and Management

In 1953 Donghua University established the Management Engineering Research Office. The most famous Professors at that time were Zhou Shiqiu, who got his Doctorial Degree of Public Management from Harvard University in USA, Dr. Zhang Qichun and Dr. Tang Ying, who studied abroad in Russia. In 1959 the Industrial Management and Engineering Program was set up as the first undergraduate program. In 1979 the Office began to admit Master Candidates. In 1983 the Office was transformed into Industrial Management and Engineering Department. In 1993 the Department was expanded as the Economics and Trade Management School. In 1994, sponsored by Glorious Sun Group in HK, the School was renamed as the Glorious Sun School of Business and Management.
