Program Description

Why choose to study this program?

This program is offered by School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering of Beihang University. Electrical Engineering and Automation, based on transmission, alternation, test and control of power, electronic technology, technology information and computer control technology as basic education, is a characteristic proffesional education by paying equal importance to high and weak voltage, components and systems.

Main Courses

Foundation on the Machine Design, Electric Circuits, Physics Experiment, Fundamental Physics, Analogue Electronics, Digital Electronics, Probability Statistics and Stochastic Process.

Main practical teaching links: computer experiment courses, computer training, course design and production practice and graduation design, the general practice teaching of not less than 30 weeks.

Major experiments: complete at least one of the professional direction of a group of professional laboratory, etc.

Internship and Career Development

This program is designed to turn out highly-qualified professionals armed with a sound basic knowledge of theories and expertise in electronical materials, component, integrate circuit, developing and researching new technology, etc. Given the strong focus on Micro-Electronics, graduates will be particularly well equipped for employment in the micro-electronics industry.

Accommodation

Two room apartment with a bathroom and kitchen: 1,300 CNY/Mth. per room*

Shared bed-room with a bathroom: 550 CNY/Mth.per bed*

Single room with bathroom: 1,100 CNY/Mth. per room*

* Electric and water costs are not included.

Entry Requirements

1. Applicants are expected to study hard, observe the Chinese laws and the regulations of BUAA

2. Applicants should have the equivalent of a high school education

3. Applicants are expected to have good scores and studied hard in high school

4. Applicants should be under thirty five years old in general

5. Applicants should have good command of English and the ability to take courses in English;

Applicants are required to submit the certificates of 90 or more in TOEFL, 5.5 or more in IELTS or any other proofs about English level.

All the applicants should pass the English Level Test at the beginning of the first semester in BUAA

With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2. Passport-sized photo

A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3. Graduation certificate of high school

Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

5. Health certificate(optional)

Photocopy of physical examination record.

6. Certificate of English proficiency test

IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.
