Chinese Language Program
The School of Foreign Languages of Xidian University has established a team of experienced teachers in teaching Chinese as a foreign language to be fully responsible for the organization and implementation of Chinese language teaching, Chinese culture teaching and various Chinese language training programs for all kinds of foreign students in Xidian University. At present, all kinds of Chinese teaching programs for foreign students in China have been established and perfected, and Chinese teaching has been organized and implemented according to the level and classification of the students, with a complete curriculum setting and teaching organization plan. Each school year, we offer such public courses as Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese Speaking, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, HSK Preparation Courses, Science and Technology Chinese, Business Chinese and General Introduction of China for foreign students at different levels to choose from. * Note: Chinese Culture is an elective course, which is only available in the first semester of each academic year. All levels of students are allowed to take elective courses in the same class. The content of Chinese Culture includes: Chinese traditional music, calligraphy, martial arts, Chinese paper cutting, tea art, Beijing Opera, Chinese painting, seal cutting, taijiquan, etc..
