Unveiling Ceremony of BRCIC and UIBE Education Base Held


On April 28, the unveiling ceremony of Belt & Road Collaborative College (BRCIC) and Preparatory Education Base (Qingdao) of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) was held at Belt & Road Collaborative Center.

 

Leaders from Qingdao District Government, presidents and professors from University of International Business and Economics, secretary general and colleagues of Belt & Road Collaborative Center attended the grand ceremony.

 

Miss Zhanglu, founder of BRCIC & SICAS delivered a welcome address. She noted that the establishment of the college is a strategic move, which can put forward the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative called by President Xi and cultivate plenty of talents in international platform. According to the new mechanism and new model, with advanced teaching philosophy, high-level faculty, perfect teaching facilities, excellent teaching quality and distinctive school features, BRCIC will write a new chapter.

 

Professor Han Weichun, Dean of International Education School, made a speech on behalf of UIBE. Professor Han looked back on the good relations between the two parties and promised to further strengthen the cooperation in achieving mutual development.

 

Leader from District Government affirmed the achievement made by BRCIC in student cultivation, academic discipline development, scientific research and education reform. He pointed out the establishment of BRCIC and Education base of UIBE met the needs for establishing "One Belt and One Road" initiative. He hoped the College would achieve a leaping development and play a vital role in international relations construction.

 

After the unveiled ceremony, BRCIC & SICAS founder Miss Zhanglu and UIBE professor Han Weichun signed an agreement on the cooperation. Later, distinguished guests visited the exhibition hall to witness the achievement of BRCIC.
