The College of Life Sciences originated in Liaocheng Teachers’ College in 1986. It has a faculty and staff of fifty five and an enrollment of one thousand two hundred forty students. The College pays high attention to scientific and academic research and has published hundreds of papers annually in peer reviewed journals.

Biological Engineering

Biological refers to a study which is based on laboratory work, computer application and researches deals with medicines, agriculture, and cell or seed technology. The program is specifically designed to integrate the laboratory and lecture components through the use of an experimental approach to learning in biotechnological, genetics and molecular biology laboratories. Hands-on research experience is deepening through an extended independent research projects.

Training Objectives

Upon successful completion of the first degree studies in Biological, graduates will have the basic knowledge in molecular basics of biological phenomena and processes and advanced knowledge in biochemistry. Students will be able to apply this knowledge in biological, and will possess the skills to work in laboratory.
