Vice President Prof. Richard Russell of the University of Adelaide Visited LZU

On November 2nd, Vice President Prof. Richard Russell and Ms. Sandy McConachy, Director of East Asia Strategy of the University of Adelaide visited our university. On the morning, Vice President Prof. Jing Tao met with the guests at the VIP room of Shaw Building.

At the meeting, Vice President Jing reviewed the fruitful work that the two universities had been carrying out in recent years. He expressed the hope that the two sides would further strengthen the good relations through more mutually beneficial projects. Vice President Russell said that the University of Adelaide attached great importance to the strategic cooperative relationship with Lanzhou University. He highly praised the four LZU students who were studying in Adelaide via CSC program for their excellence in research and hard-working attitude. He hoped the two universities would have more collaboration outcomes in the fields of talent cultivation, scientific research, short-term summer program, faculty exchange.
