Department of Social SciencesSocial Sciences Department provides humanities and social science courses, mental health counseling and political education for the whole university. It has five teaching and research sections, 9 associate professors, 15 lecturers. Over the years, supported by the government and other departments of the university, the Department of Social Sciences strives for success and has significant achievements. It continuously improves the quality of teaching and research during the last five years, has published more than 100 papers, undertaken one research project of Ministry of Social Science, 4 projects funded by Jiangsu Province Social Science Foundation, and dozens of research of the university. Teachers have won all kinds of honorary titles and awards. In 2006 the Politics Education Master’s program was established.In 2009, the Mental Health Counseling Center is founded, as the first mental health centers of Jiangsu Province.
As an indispensable part of China Pharmaceutical University it has been adding to the comprehensive development of pharmaceutical disciplines and playing an increasingly important role. |
