School of Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy origins from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicinal Chemistry of Nanjing College of Pharmacy (1952-1986). Currently, it has 7 research divisions, 10 departments and 3 research labs/centers.

Currently we have about 1600 undergraduate students, 730 Master's students, and 192 doctoral students. The student-teacher ratio is 20:1. There are 116 faculty members, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 30 professors, 48 associate professors and 38 research fellows or lecturers. Our faculty members are dedicated in teaching and research, winning research funds and grants from various sources. In the year 2008 alone, we received about 9 million (RMB) research funds from the government and about 5 million from industry.
