School of International Pharmaceutical Business


The School of International Pharmaceutical Business, formerly the Department of Pharmaceutical Business Management, was founded in 1993. In response to social demand, the school has been exploring a unique way to integrate the study of pharmacy with management, economics and law. It cultivates senior pharmaceutical managers with academic competence and practical skills. As a result, graduates have received positive appraisals from employers. The employment rate has been high. 

At present, there are 4 professors, 10 associate professors, 16 lecturers and 5 assistant lecturers in the school. More than 90% of faculty members are doctor degree holders. The faculty are active in scientific research, winning numerous awards at national or provincial level. Up to now, over 300 academic papers and more than 30 books have been published. Several teachers are winners of Outstanding Teaching Achievement Prize at provincial level. At the same time, the school highlights cultivation of young teachers, encouraging and facilitating excellent young teachers to further their education both at home and abroad. As a consequence, a young teaching team has formed, characterized by strong academic competence and creative thinking. 

The school is making itself a scientific research base and a talents bank capable of exploring and solving important theoretical and practical problems. Currently, there are about 1600 undergraduate students (including 10 international students), 106 Master's students, 30 doctoral students in the school. From the year 1993 to now,a total of 1800 students have graduated from the school.
