Official Meeting between GZU Officials and German Consuls

On the afternoon of August 18, Pro. Chen Shuping, president of GZU, Dr. Zhang Chengxia, vice director of the Office of International Relations, Pro. Wang Jianfang, dean of College of International Studies, had a friendly talk with Hans Mondorf, German Consul General in Chengdu, and Claudia Spahl, deputy Consul General, in Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel Guizhou. Both consuls listened with interest the general information of GZU and its international exchanges.

It’s Mr. Mondorf’s first visit to Guizhou, and he expressed his confidence and expectation in the cooperation between German universities and GZU. Ms. Claudia Spahl gave a detailed account for DAAD program, Bosch Foundation and Germany Day, and promised to send GZU more data on German universities to facilitate future contact and cooperation. In 2012—2013, the German Consulate General in Chengdu will assist in inviting celebrated German experts, professors and entrepreneurs to GZU.
