Program Introduction
Fermentation engineering is an important part of bioengineering in China. It is the key to the industrialization of biotechnology. On the basis of cell pure culture technology, fermentation engineering is a frontier biological high technology subject by manipulating genetic material, regulating the key enzymes of cell metabolism and using modern biological chemical industry large molecule separation and purification technology and corresponding modern equipment to achieve large cell culture in order to obtain various physiological active substances. Its industrial relevancy involves medicine, agriculture, chemical industry, light industry, food and environmental protection. Fermentation engineering is the core technology of bioengineering, and it is also a bridge to realize industrialization of pharmaceutical biotechnology and Agricultural Bioengineering.
