Program Overview
It is a project studying issues and methodologies regarding the safety of production systems, taking into account the territorial and environmental impacts related to the operations of the plants. The project originates from the awareness that the management tasks by a safety expert require preparation that only advanced university education can provide. It aims to prepare professionals with the technical, organizational, managerial, relational, and legal-administrative skills suited to perform the following functions
Program Objectives
The aim is to form engineers with the technical-scientific knowledge required to address and manage the problems typical of the area of safety and prevention, from preventive risk analyses to the analysis of chemical and physical accident-related phenomena, to the use of investigative, monitoring, diagnostic and evaluation tools. The ability to properly analyze and take action to minimize the triggering of conditions of accidents with territorial impacts requires that the new figure of the engineer focus not only on what happens inside the plant, but also on its interactions with the external environment.

Qualified student will be granted Master Degree of Safety Science and Engineering by China University of Mining And Technology
Future Career
Graduates in Safety Science and Engineering will be appropriately placed within production units, civil protection entities and consultancy companies. The main tasks deal with safety planning and coordination, both in design and operational phases, safety-report writing for companies with high accident-risk probability, protection and prevention services, maintenance plan design and management.

5.Bachelor's degree diploma
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
6.English proficiency test certificate
For applicants who apply for master programs conducted in English.
7.Family Finance Support
Photocopy of the financial support statement with signature.
8.Two letters of recommendation
From professor or associate professor or equivalents
9.Study plan
Including study purpose, research interest and research plan in brief.
