As key discipline of CQUPT,the discipline, based on the electrician theory, emphasizes the latest theory and technology research in combining electrician theory and new technologies, and stresses combination with communication technology and power electronic technologies. It has a complete set of favorable experiment and researching conditions and a group of 7professors, 13 associate professors (of whom 6 are doctors). In recent years, 12 academic books and text books are published, over 100 high-quality papers are issued and more than 12 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects are carried out.
