Program
Objectives
The Master Program for
International Students in SESE admits non-Chinese speaking foreign students or
overseas Chinese with undergraduate degree diploma or Bachelor degree. Based on
the first-grade discipline “Environmental Science and Engineering”, the
students will be trained in two areas: Environmental Science and Environmental
Engineering. The main courses of the program include Principles of Process
Engineering, Frontier Lectures on Environmental Science and Engineering,
Environmental Pollution Simulation and Control, Environmental Biology, and
Experiment Design and Dada Analysis, combined with Literature Review, Book
Report and Dissertation, the program aims to train high-level professional
talents with solid theory basis, professional skills, broad scope of knowledge,
strong adaptability and creativity, who are able to undertake scientific
research or engineering design of waste water, exhaust gas and solid wastes
control and treatment.

Process Engineering Principles, Frontier Lectures on Environmental Science and
Engineering, Environmental Pollution Simulation and Control, Environmental
Biology, Experiment Design and Dada Analysis.

Simulation Technology of Waste Water Treatment, Theory and Engineering of Waste
Water Treatment, Membrane Technology for Waste Water Treatment, Advanced
Separation Engineering, Solid Waste Disposal and Resource Utilization
Engineering, Research Methods on Solid Wastes Ecotoxicology, Electric Dust
Removal Theory and Technologies, Latest Treatment Technologies of Exhaust Gas,
Molecular Environmental Ecology, Environment Biological Treatment Technologies,
etc.

Credits
and Certification
Thirty-six credits are
required, including 6 credits for dissertation. Qualified students will be granted certificates
of graduation and Master Degree of Engineering in Environmental Science and Engineering
Instruction Language
■ All the courses are delivered in English except some of Chinese language courses.
■ Dissertation is required to be written in English

Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

Transcript should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
3. Certificate of English proficiency test
It is better to upload your IELTS or TOEFL results when you are applying for a course taught in English, especially for those non-native English speakers, even though it is not a compulsory condition in some of the universities.
