International students who are U.S.citizens in good health; Currently study or work abroad and will apply Bachelor Degree Program, Master Degree Program, and Doctor Degree Program at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics through SICAS for 2016 intake. Note:(1) All programs in Chinese medium are available. Students may apply one year Chinese preparatory course if their Chinese level do not reach the criteria). Application Requirements: |
Please prepare the following documents before you apply any programs at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics online. 1. Applicants must be US citizens in good health, currently study or work abroad 2. Applicants must abide by the Chinese government’s laws, rules and regulations and school regulatory framework. 3. Education background and age limit: a) Applicants for Bachelor’s degree study must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification and be under the age of 25. b) Applicants for master degree must obtain bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and be under the age of 35. c) Applicants for doctoral degree must obtain master degree or equivalent qualification and be under the age of 40. 4. Applicants must adhere to the university’s rules and regulations and demonstrate high academic achievement. 5. Applicants have excellent scores. Applicants for Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree program must be recommended by from two professors or associate professors. 6. Applicants have no other scholarships from Chinese government. |

1. The scholarship quotas are distributed by the relevant department of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics 2. Your scholarship application documents will be reviewed by SICAS helpful and efficient staff members, and then those outstanding applicants will be recommended to Dongbei University of Finance and Economics 3. Whether or not you're able to achieve the scholarship will be determined by the relevant department of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics on the basis of your academic merits as well as your recommendation letters. 4. You are not eligible for the application of any other scholarships in case you've already been a recipient of a particular scholarship. 5. SICAS reserves the final right of enforcing and explaining the detailed rules of implementation. |

Note: Please provide two copies of all application documents in Chinese or English): 1. Highest degree certificate. If applicants are still study in other schools, or have a job, the verification of study or employment should be attached; 2.Academic transcripts; 3. Certificate of HSK or BCT for the program instructed in Chinese (not necessary);Certificate of IELTS or TOEFL for programs instructed in English (except mother language is English). 4. Photocopy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (printed by Chinese Quarantine Authorities), original copies of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner must be carried when entering China; 5. Study and Research Scheme (at least 800 words); 6. Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors; 7. Photocopy of passport. 8. Lists of publication( including paper title, journal name and time) ,if any; 9. Lists of award certificates for particular talents and special skills, if any. |
