Program Overview
This subject studies all kinds of mechanical power national production as the research object, by dynamic mechanical new theory, new structure and new technology applied basic research such as using means of experimental study and numerical simulation, and stress on studies on the research and development of power machinery and equipment and its engineering application technology to improve the operation efficiency and safety performance as well as reduce noise pollution, etc.
Teaching Objectives
Students should well-know the basic theory and professional knowledge of power machinery and engineering, as well as the theory of engineering thermodynamics, power machinery, vibration theory, control engineering and so on. Master professional skills in power machine research and development, design, control, energy saving and safety assurance, as well as computer aided calculation and design methods.

Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Design Basis, Mechanical Drawing, Electrician and Electronic Technology, Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Control Theory, Testing Technology and Dynamic Characteristics of Thermal System and its Mathematical Model etc.

Qualified student will be granted Master Degree of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics by China University of Mining And Technology
