Chinese Language and Literature

I. Introduction

Chinese language is a characteristic bachelor program for foreign students. It aims to cultivate graduates with good capacity in Chinese listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills, familiar with China and Chinese culture, and master high-level communication skills.


II.Training Objectives

The nature of the program is second-language teaching which imparts systematic Chinese language and Chinese Culture to Non-native speakers or Overseas Chinese.

The objective is to develop application-oriented Chinese professionals who have comprehensive ability, and satisfy the international needs.

Specific objectives: to have a solid Chinese language ability and communication competence; master systematic basic theory of Chinese language; master basic Chinese humanities, familiar with China's national conditions and social culture; master basic method of document retrieval and data inquiry, and have ability in preliminary scientific research and practical work.
